Edited by Travel Weekly

Minor Hotels has announced its debut in the capital of France with three four-star offerings in its NH chain set to open in Q1 2024.

The group will make its debut in Paris with the NH Paris Gare de l’Est, the NH Opéra Paris Faubourg and NH Paris Champs-Elysées, part of the group’s strategic plans to expand into key cities in Europe.

The trio will offer travellers 400 guest rooms in the heart of the city to enjoy the restaurants, bars and incredible shopping that Paris has to offer.

“Our team has been searching for the right opportunities in this key market for some time, so we are pleased to announce that, together with Swiss Life AM, Minor Hotels will arrive in Paris not with one but with three hotels,” CEO, Minot Hotels, Dillip Rajakarier, said.

“We believe this is an amazing opportunity to grow with two of our brands in the second most visited city in the world and home to the 2024 Olympics.”

Head of hospitality for Swiss Life Asset Managers France (the parent company of Minor Hotels), Johanna Capoani, said the new offerings are a great opening for the company.

“We are very pleased at Swiss Life Asset Managers France to develop our hospitality offering with a management agreement with the well-known international hospitality group Minor Hotels and to support their entry to Paris, a major tourist power.

The three hotels in Paris will join Minor Hotels’ current portfolio of six properties in the country located in Marseille, Lyon, Toulouse and Nice.

Future openings are slated for Helsinki, Chiang Mai and Laos.
