    Great Southern’s Fly and Stay Free special offer will have travellers taking in the views along the east coast between Adelaide and Brisbane next summer.

    This bright orange locomotive chases the summer sun, sharing the incredible coastline with those who want to experience it by train. The journey reflects the best of Australia, from charming coastal towns to cosmopolitan cities, verdant green hills, and exceptional food and wine.

    Brisbane to Adelaide

    Departing Brisbane, you’ll travel south on a four-day journey into the rolling hills of New South Wales before indulging in a signature beachside dining experience in Coffs Harbour. Enjoy Off Train Experiences in the Hunter Valley or explore beautiful Port Stephens by land or sea, before heading towards regional Victoria and Melbourne. Spend some relaxing time on train on your journey towards Adelaide and enjoy a free night accommodation in the city before your return flight home.

    Gold Premium – $4,735 per person
    Gold Service – $3,995 per person
    Gold Single – $3,650 per person

    Enjoy one night accommodation at the beginning or end of your journey as well as free return flights up to the value of $1,000 per person.

    Adelaide to Brisbane

    Leaving Adelaide behind, relax and unwind on a three-day journey up the east coast. Lap up the spectacular scenery passing by with Off Train Experiences in the ancient Grampians, historical Canberra, and coastal Coffs Harbour before arriving in Brisbane. Enjoy a free night accommodation in Brisbane before flying home.

    Prices start from:

    Gold Premium – $3,265 per person
    Gold Service – $2,725 per person
    Gold Single – $2,600 per person

    Enjoy one night accommodation at the beginning or end of your journey as well as free return flights up to the value of $1,000 per person.

    In addition to the rail only journey’s, free return flights up to the value of $1,000 per person are available on a selection of the Great Southern’s holiday packages including Adelaide Delight in 2024 from $4,965 and Gourmet Escape in 2024 from $3,335.
