Travellers' Choice winners head to Cook Islands
By admin

Travellers Choice Bronze Choice winners were recently rewarded with a getaway to the Cook Islands.

The agents received the trip as part of their prize for taking out the national retail group’s Bronze Choice awards, and enjoyed a number of activities, including a trip to the local prison where the agents admired instruments made by the inmates.

“We ended up having a jamming session with one of the guards as the prison doesn’t have too many people in it,” marketing manager Robyn Mitchell said.

The trip featured visits to Te Punanda Nui markets, a Raro Safari 4WD tour of Rarotonga, and a flight to Aitutaki for a One Foot Island Cruise on the lagoon.

Although the famil was designed to ensure the hard working agents enjoyed some down time, Mitchell said the group found it hard to get out of office mode.

"Even though we had time devoted to relaxation most of the group actually booked to do some hotel inspections during their ‘time at leisure’," Mitchell said. “How’s that for dedication?”

The Travellers Choice agents flew to the Cook Islands with Air New Zealand, and were guests of Adventure World.
