China Southern has launched a range of A380 business class fares to Europe to mark the October arrival of the superjumbo in Australia.

Return fares from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth start from $5020 to Amsterdam, $5100 to Paris and $5300 to London. Fares to Los Angeles and Vancouver start from $5175.

The sale fares must be booked by the end of July and are valid for travel between October 27 and January 31.

 

Banff, Banff National Park and Lake Louise have said they have escaped the worst of the Alberta floods and are continuing to welcome tourists.

Tourism officials said the majority of the national park's highways are open while hotels, attractions, shops and restaurants are open for business.

 

Quest is on track to open its serviced apartment in Wadonga, Victoria in August with the property now taking bookings.

 

The Grand Chifley Adelaide is offering travel agents a family room rate of $95 to thank them for their support. Reservations must be made direct with the hotel and quote 'agent break'.

The offer, which includes breakfast and free parking, is available on stays in a standard room between now and August 31.
