Oaks Hotels & Resorts has signed on as the Official Accommodation Sponsor of the nation’s leading netball competition the Suncorp Super League.

“From grassroots participation through to the elite level, netball holds a special place in Australian sports culture as our number one female team sport, with more than one million people regularly taking to the court to play,” Oaks’ head of communications Daniel Csortan said.

“We see a natural alignment between the netball community and our guests – Australians who love to travel with family and friends and enjoy local events and experiences – and we are proud to support professional women’s sport in a meaningful way.

“We look forward to providing a home away from home for the players and team officials travelling to destinations where we have Oaks hotels, including Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, the Sunshine Coast and Sydney.

Netball Australia interim CEO Stacey West added: “We are delighted to welcome Oaks Hotels on board as our official accommodation partner. We look forward to working with Oaks Hotels as netball’s new home away from home.”
