Virtuoso announces Fiona Dalton departure and Greg Treasure to AU/NZ GM
Edited by Travel Weekly

Virtuoso has announced the addition of two new general managers, both of whom will support the network’s global growth strategy within their respective regions.

Greg Treasure has been named general manager, Australia and New Zealand, taking over the role as current general manager Fiona Dalton transitions into consultancy.

Raymond Ang has been appointed general manager, South East and North Asia, with general manager, Greater China Irene Lee now fully focused on that region.

Joining Virtuoso as of the 4th of March, Treasure will oversee Australia and New Zealand, with responsibility for the business planning and financial performance of that regional market. He brings decades of global experience, having held executive leadership roles with HRG Travel throughout Australia, Asia Pacific, North America and Latin America, that will further propel this established Virtuoso region towards market optimisation. Treasure will provide leadership to a strong team that operates under Virtuoso’s divisional matrixed structure.

Virtuoso’s further expansion into Asia has created two separate general manager roles designed to serve two distinct territories. Ang steps into the newly created position of general manager, South East and North Asia, where he will oversee Virtuoso’s operations within the market. Ang brings a wealth of experience in travel industry business development throughout Asia Pacific as well as a broad understanding of the specific characteristics of the countries that make up the region. Ang officially joins Virtuoso this April.

Treasure will be based in Virtuoso’s Sydney office, and Ang will be based in Singapore. Both will report to Senior Vice President of Global Operations Michael Londregan.

“Virtuoso continues to invest in its global growth by bringing in talented leadership to serve the unique business needs of our members and partners in a given region,” said Londregan.

“For Australia and New Zealand, where Virtuoso has been successfully operating for 20 years, Greg Treasure will continue to drive value in this well-established market that has set the standard for Virtuoso’s regional operations.

“We deeply appreciate Fiona’s impact on the market, and we’re excited that her decision to transition to consultancy allows her to spend more time with her family and friends.

“For South East and North Asia, the opportunities for growth are endless.

“With the region estimated to be the fifth largest economy in the world by 2030, we are excited to explore the incredible development potential it represents, with Raymond Ang helping lead the way.”
