Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) has released its 2023 Cruise Month Toolkit, offering a wealth of digital resources to help travel agent members get the most from October’s month-long celebration of cruising.

Now available for download in the CLIA Members Hub, the toolkit provides a range of branded and editable marketing collateral that agents can use to mount their own Cruise Month promotions in Australia and New Zealand.

It includes official logos, website and social page banners, backgrounds for Microsoft Teams and video conferencing, email signature banners, social media tiles and assets, an editable cruise deal flyer, and more.

CLIA will add more to the toolkit through September and will announce webinars to help give members ideas and advice on how to benefit from Cruise Month. This year CLIA will also launch a members-only Cruise Month competition with a prize package to be won.

Timed with the start of the southern summer cruise season, October’s Cruise Month is designed to build excitement around cruising with a series of media campaigns, promotions and social media initiatives. Travel agents can capitalise on the initiative with their own Cruise Month marketing and promotions.

This year’s Cruise Month will involve four weekly themes:

    • Ocean Cruising, 1-7 October
    • River Cruising, 8-14 October
    • Expedition Cruising, 15-21 October
    • Luxury Cruising 22-28 October

Visit the CLIA Members Hub to download the Cruise Month toolkit.

CLIA managing director in Australasia Joel Katz said Cruise Month would help kick-off a bumper season for cruising in Australia and New Zealand.

“Cruise Month is all about creating excitement around the coming cruise season and inspiring travellers to book their next cruise holiday,” Katz said.

“Importantly, it helps spread the message that CLIA-accredited travel agents are the best qualified cruise specialists in Australasia and the most knowledgeable professionals to help book a cruise.”
