Entire Travel Group nixes pre-commitment charge, introduces new documentation solution

Entire Travel Group is eliminating its $100 pre-commitment payment for customised holiday packages, while also introducing a new dynamic itinerary and documentation solution for all of its tailor-made holiday packages.

Sales and marketing director Greg McCallum said the $100 pre-commitment charge was introduced in early 2021 as the industry was emerging from the pandemic.

“Like all travel companies we were then operating with limited resources and needed to ensure we maintained our service levels,” McCallum said.

“Since then, we have steadily rebuilt, most recently by adding seven new full-time members to our Canada, Islands and Europe sales teams.

“At the same time, we’ve been delighted to see that our travel agent partners, as part of their own efforts to optimise efficiency, have adopted a firmer approach to qualifying leads.

“As a result, we are confident that a pre-commitment charge is no longer necessary and want thank our trade partners for supporting us throughout this transition period.”

Meanwhile, Entire Travel Group will go live on (Monday) 27 February with a new dynamic itinerary and documentation solution for custom-designed holiday packages.

“Travel agents booking a customised holiday package now have access to full colour, day-by-day itineraries, featuring their agent logo and downloadable as pdf documents,” McCallum said.

“But in addition, they will have the ability to view the itinerary and travel documents via their desktop, mobile device or using an App – allowing changes to be made dynamically, in real-time for speed and efficiency.”
