Passenger rampage: Man strangles women, tries to attack baby

A passenger on a Siberian Airlines flight has gone on a midair rampage, sexually assaulting a woman and trying to attack a baby.

The 47-year-old male also tried to strangle several other female passengers, including a child, and punching and kicking a man, reports the Sun.

The man reportedly paced up and down the cabin, randomly terrorising passengers and making unprovoked attacks.

He mainly targeted young women, verbally abusing and trying to strangle them.

“Then he took a seat next to a young woman and began to sexually harass her.” Passenger Stanislav Semenov told the Sun.

“He grabbed and pulled her hair, then he switched to a young man, saying something to him then punching and striking him with his elbow.

“Then he went and took a seat next to another young man, and a little girl was sitting in the front, so he moved forwards and grabbed her neck.”

If that wasn’t enough, he also called a baby a “little sh*t” and tried to grab the child from its father.

Then, he tried to strip in front of the horrified travellers.

Eventually, the man was overpowered by male passengers and cabin crew members, who managed to strap him down.

When the four-hour flights finally made it to Novosibirsk, armed police detained the man and he was taken to a holding cell at the airport, where he caused more of a ruckus, banging on his cell and taking off his shirt.

We understand long flights can be stressful, but this mans reaction seems a bit much.

Just kidding, in all seriousness, we hope he gets the help he needs.
