InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has announced its new exclusive partnership with Nutrition Australia, a not-for-profit organisation that inspires healthy eating through education, information and advisory services.
The partnership aims to develop a revamped kids’ menu to launch in 2015 at Holiday Inn hotels across the Asia, Middle East and Africa region, featuring healthier food options that will enhance the travel appeal for holidaying families.
Nutrition Australia will create 26 appetiser and main meal dish options, ten dessert options and ten drink options, providing a nutritious balance of vegetables, meat and wholegrain foods, plus fruit or dairy where relevant.
The top cruise lines have celebrated the end of their first year under one hat, by hosting travel managers at a series of events across Australia on their ships.
World’s Leading Cruise Lines (WLCL) is the trade marketing umbrella of cruise operator Carnival Australia, representing the seven brands in Australia of P&O Cruises Australia, Princess Cruises, Carnival Cruise Lines, Cunard, P&O Cruises World Cruising, Holland America Line and Seabourn.

Airbus will deliver its first new, next-generation long-haul A350-900 plane to Qatar Airways on December 13, according to the European aerospace giant.

Organised by the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB), the latest addition to the city’s series of events to celebrate the festive season and 2015 Chinese New Year is the Hong Kong Pulse 3D Light Show, which features Hong Kong-themed graphics, spectacular music and a range of iconic structures such as the Clock Tower.
Hong Kong Pulse will be held nightly from December 17 – 29 and February 14 – March 5, 2015 (excluding February 19) with four shows per night at 8.30pm, 9pm, 9.30pm and 10pm, each show lasts about 15 minutes and the best vantage point for visitors to enjoy the show is the Open Piazza at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre.
To celebrate the release of its 2015/16 Maldives brochure, Singapore Airlines Holidays are offering savings of up to $400 per couple on seven-night air and land packages from its new range of resorts – but only for the first 50 bookings.
Available until December 15 or until sold out, the savings apply to properties like Kurumba Resort, and Taj Exotica Resort and Spa Maldives, with the offer valid for travel between February 1 and December 1 2015.
