Oaks Hotels and Resorts will roll out a private label chain code in Global Distribution Systems from August 1 in a move it said will give agents “unparalleled access” to all its properties.

Oaks, a division of Thailand-based Minor International, described the development as a milestone as it seeks to increase exposure of its brand to retailers across the world and grow revenue.

General manager of sales Daniel Csortan said the presence of the ‘OH’ code has the potential to “significantly boost bookings”.

“We are looking forward to marketing our hotels and resorts to a far wider audience and embracing this new growth as our company continues its global expansion,” he said.

Oaks Hotels and Resorts has 40 properties with the latest, Oaks on William in Melbourne, set to open on July 15.
