Sweet summer savings with Wendy Wu Tours
Couples can save up to $1,100 when travelling twin share while solo travellers enjoy FREE single supplements on selected departures, or 50 per cent off on others
The Summer Sale is available for a limited time, for bookings from 22 December 2023 through to 29 February 2024, and represents a saving of up to $550 per person ($1,100 for two people travelling together twin share) for eligible all-inclusive holidays.
An exclusive solo traveller offer is also available, with Wendy Wu Tours waiving the single travel supplement on selected tours and dates completely, with other tours extending a 50% discount off the regular single supplement price.
Simon Bell, Managing Director for Wendy Wu Tours Australia, says, “We are really excited to launch this year’s Summer Sale at a time when leisure travel from Australia remains robust thanks to the resilience and eagerness of consumers to prioritise overseas travel in 2024.
“While it’s clear that Australians don’t want to give up their travel plans, many of us are of course still looking for ways to save right now. This makes events like our summer sale more popular than ever, because when combined with the all-inclusive nature of our tours, the value we offer is hard – if not impossible – to beat.”
Mr Bell said that destinations like Japan and Southeast Asia continue to be as popular as ever with Australian travellers and, in addition, China and India have seen a sharp increase in forward bookings as increased airline capacity into these markets has piqued interest for travel to these destinations in the new year.
Wendy Wu Tours has an incredible range of tours and departures to select from as part of its Summer Sale, but some favourites include:
- The 12-day Jewels of Japan tour, a fully inclusive, ‘Classic’ style itinerary. Highlights include experiencing the city rush of Tokyo, admiring beautiful Mount Fuji, puzzling over Ryoanji and being charmed by Kyoto. The tour also includes time to pause and reflect in Hiroshima and relaxed Miyajima. Jewels of Japan is priced from $9,440 per person, twin share.
Twin share travellers will save up to $550 per person ($1,100 per couple), and solo travellers receive 50% off the cost of the single supplement.
- Wendy Wu Tours Majestic Yangtze tour is a 14-day fully inclusive ‘Classic’ group tour visiting China. Highlights include a visit to see Shanghai’s bright lights, a Yangtze River cruise, watching giant pandas play, Xian’s famous Terracotta Army, walking on the Great Wall and discovering ancient Ciqikou. Majestic Yangtze is priced from $6,080 per person, twin share.
Twin share travellers will save up to $500 per person ($1,000 per couple), and solo travellers will have their single travel supplement waived complexly for a saving of $1,280.
- The Best of Borneo, a 16-day fully inclusive ‘Go Beyond’ group tour. Borneo is one of the world’s greatest natural wonders, with an all-encompassing biodiversity.
This tour includes a visit to see the last wild orangutans, sadly under threat from habitat destruction, a cruise on the Kinabatangan River, majestic Mt Kinabalu excursion, Semenggoh Nature Reserve and Bako National Park, Kuching and Kota Kinabalu, plus a traditional longhouse experience for a taste of local life. Priced from $7,280pp, twin share.
Twin share travellers will save up to $400 per person ($800 per couple), and with the single supplement fee waived, solo travellers will save $1,380 off the cost of the trip.
- The Himalayan Kingdoms tour is a 24-day, fully-inclusive ‘Go Beyond’ style itinerary for those that love to walk and want to take an incredible journey through Sikkim and Bhutan.
