Round 2 of agent creativity

Off the back of its recent agent website launch, Creative Holidays has rolled out a fresh new raft of features.

Listening to the feedback from agents and monitoring insights on the new booking engine, Creative has hit the ground running with Version 2.1 of its website.

Managing director James Gaskell recently told Travel Weekly it’s their new philosophy to make travel simple, with these new features set to prove they can walk the walk.

“We want to make travel sustainable, and an attractive place to work,” Gaskell said.

“Steve Jobs said being simple is hard, but at Creative Holidays, we want to achieve this goal of making booking travel simple.”

To break it down, the new agent-friendly features to be expected are:

  • The range of hotels and room types included online has been expanded, with the addition of on request hotels, which were previously only available via the call centre.
  • Agents can now easily search and differentiate ‘book and hold’, ‘instant purchase’ and ‘on request’ hotels within the search results listings, with an added amount of new deals and last minute offers.
  • Retail and wholesale airfare offerings have also been expanded online, with airfares previously included as instant purchase now able to be booked and held without payment, according to fare rules, from anywhere in the world.

“At Creative Holidays we want to make the process of booking travel simple, through aggregating thousands of worldwide travel products for our agency partners and providing them with an effortless booking experience,” Gaskell added.

“To achieve this, we are making it a priority to invest in technology innovation and service excellence.”

“We look forward to keeping the industry updated as we evolve. We truly believe in the future of the Australian travel industry, and our own investments reflect that belief.”
