ATAC members and preferred partners are making their way to Canberra for the highly anticipated Future Focus conference, which begins tomorrow at the iconic Press Club and continues for the weekend at the prestigious Hotel Realm.

ATAC general manager, Michelle Emerton announced that opening the conference will be Bridget McKenzie, shadow minister for Infrastructure, Transport, and Regional Development, who recently chaired the committee responsible for investigating Commonwealth bilateral air service agreements.

McKenzie’s presentation will focus on the recent Senate inquiry and the need for a more competitive, affordable and reliable airline system.

In addition, the chief minister of the Australian Capital Territory, Andrew Barr, will welcome delegates.

Following presentations by ATIA CEO, Dean Long, preferred partners and a keynote on navigating AI in the travel industry, the day will continue with a supplier networking exhibition and a welcome dinner at the National Portrait Gallery.

Themed “Re-Invent, Re-Connect, Re-Focus,” the conference carries an action-packed itinerary filled with innovative ideas, networking opportunities, and insightful discussions.

Attendees can expect to engage in meaningful conversations, exchange best practices, and gain a comprehensive understanding of the travel industry’s evolving landscape.
