Helloworld is looking to the Frontliners Conference on November 28-30 to build upon the year’s successes when the event hits Adelaide’s Convention Centre.

The conference will feature keynote speakers such as adventurer and former Young Australian of the Year Jessica Watson OAM and Aussie football superstar Harry Kewell, with the specialised program providing attendees with numerous workshops, networking opportunities, entertainment and a Christmas-themed Gala Dinner and Awards night to wrap up.

Major sponsors of the conference include Qantas, SA Tourism Commission, Qantas Holidays, Viva! Holidays, World’s Leading Cruise Lines and The Travel Corporation.

 

Oaks Hotels & Resorts has launched its 72-hour sale event – the biggest of the year – releasing special rates and savings across its Australian property portfolio.

Deals start from $99 per night, with the sale giving Aussie and international travellers alike the chance to visit another state for cheaper than normal prices.

Centara Hotels & Resorts has announced it will further expand its presence in Krabi with the addition of a Centra value brand hotel in the province, taking the hotel total to four.

Centra Phu Pano Resort, Krabi is set to open in mid-2016, offering travellers 158 rooms, including a series of Family Rooms and connecting rooms, an all day restaurant and bar, meeting room, fitness centre and swimming pool with separate children’s pool.

“With its location in Ao Nang close to shops and entertainment spaces this resort sits in a unique location for our guests” Centara Hotels & Resorts chief executive officer Thirayuth Chirathivat said.

Santa and his friends are heading to Sydney Airport on Saturday and Sunday November 29 and 30 for a Breakfast with Santa event to raise money for Variety – the Children’s Charity.

Two sessions will be held on each day, at 8am and 11.30am, with admission covering breakfast, a Christmas show, a meet and greet with Santa, gifts for all the children and an airport tour, with parking included as well.

Variety – the Children’s Charity is selling tickets for $24.50 per child and $10 per accompanying adult, with all proceeds to go to empowering sick, disadvantaged and special needs children.

On The Go’s Kelsey Law recently returned from an On The Go tour throughout India, which saw Law join the Golden Triangle & Kerala group on a tour through Delhi, Jaipur, Agra and tropical Kerala.

One of the highlights included her tour of Jaisalmer Fort, where a local guide whose house is positioned inside the fort invited the group in for chai with his family, something Law described as “a truly memorable part of our journey and one we will always remember.”

Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has entered the Indonesian market, with the launch of Fairmont Sanur Beach Bali, a 120 all-suite-and-villa property situated on 200 metres of beach in the south-eastern part of the island.

Formerly the Regent Bali, the addition comes ahead of the opening of Fairmont Jakarta in 2015, and a second Fairmont property planned for Bali in 2016, bringing the company’s portfolio to over 65 hotels globally.
