Scenic Tours has added a fourth tier to its customer loyalty program to reward its "most experienced" guests with a range of additional benefits.

The new Emerald level of Scenic Club is for guests who have undertaken 15 trips of brochured product or who have travelled for 250 days with the operator.

 

Serviced apartment firm The Ascott Limited has appointed Kenneth Rogers, formerly its general manager Indonesia, as its new regional general manager of Indonesia and Australia.

In his new role, Rogers will oversee 14 Ascott, Citadines and Somerset proeprties in both countries.

 

Partners will fly free from Australia with bookings of one of three Yangtze River group tours from Helen Wong's Tours' latest China brochure – a saving of $980 per couple.

Families will also receive an additional two free air tickets for children under 16 years, with senior travellers able to benefit from a $100 discount.

The offer applies to the 15-day Yangtze Wonders itinerary, the 18-day Might Yangtze and the 26-day Splendid Yangtze. It also applies to two group tours from the 2013 program.

 

Quest Serviced Apartments will grow its Auckland portfolio with the August 12 opening of Quest Highbrook in East Tamaki.

The 62-room complex is located within The Crossings precinct, adjacent to the conference centre run by Waipuna.

 

Hertz has become the first car rental company to offer the tow-seat convertible Jaguar F-Type for hire in Europe.

The sports car is now available for rental in Belgium, France, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands with rights to exclusivity in Europe for six months.

Rates start from 250 euro per day depending on the location.

 

Hotel firm Starwood is offering members of its customer loyalty scheme "triple benefits" over a three month period.

Until the end of September, Starwood Preferred Guest members will receive discounts and additional perks when dining at participating venues.
