Travel Distribution Systems has launched Arena-One – an in-house reservations system for use within the operations of travel suppliers and wholesalers, developed with its Arena system as its base.

Features include inventory management facilities, a super PNR booking facility, quotation production, travel agents database, document printing and emailing.

The new system also distributes content via the Arena global distribution system, TDS chief executive Norman Collins revealed.

"We have made Arena-One affordable for both large and smaller companies and have ensured that the system operates to industry standards," he said.

A tablet version of both Arena and Arena-One will also soon be released.

 

The second partnership prospectus from Destination NSW offers tourism business a step-by-step guide on how to make use of a range of sales and marketing activities.

Accessible at its website, the guide features 30 activities to assist New South Wales businesses.

"This is a free step-by-step guide on how to access many ree-of-charge resources as well as a wide range of marketing and sales activities to help build sales and reach consumers and the tourism trade in NSW, Australia and overseas," state minister for tourism, George Souris, said.

 

Preferred Hotel Group has launched its first points-based consumer loyalty program, iPrefer, which rewards customers with 1 point for ever dollar spent, that can be redeemed against future stays at its potfolio of properties.

 

SkiJapan.com and equipment rental firm Central Snowsports have joined forces to offer Hakuba ski packages which include a free night's accommodation and also free ski or board hire.

The offer includes a pay six, stay seven deal at Phoenix Chalet from $1325 per person and at Phoenix Hotel from $1210 per person. Bookings must be made by September 30.

Central Snowports will open a second store this season at Happo-One as it enters its fifth season in Hakuba.
