Club Med opens more winter wonderlands expanding to over 20 resorts

Club Med has strengthened its mountain portfolio, unveiling a range of brand new mountain resorts in preparation for an influx of winter holidays makers.

Club Med will have new hotels in France, Japan, Italy, China and Canada, expanding to over 20 resorts globally through and has announced plans for a further three resorts to be opened in the United States, Italian alps and Japan, providing travellers with a broad spectrum of spectacular winter destinations.

Club Med’s selection of premium all-inclusive travel experiences offers guests the luxury of staying in a ski-in ski-out resort in mountain destinations, surrounded by snow-covered slopes coupled with curated experiential activities for young and young-at-heart.

New Club Med mountain resort additions include:

Club Med Val d’Isere, France – After receiving a complete transformation, Val d’Isere opens this winter as the brands very first exclusive collection. Home to a state of the art wellness and fitness centre, a ‘By Heberson’ yoga school, comprehensive childcare service, après ski activities.

Club Med Tignes, France – opened December 2022, 3,456m above sea level, the newly renovated Tignes sits in the mountains they have called home since 1958. A combination of exquisite comfort and invigorating atmosphere, the resort features 430 rooms, 25 exclusive collection suites, two restaurants, a full spa and a wellness salt well. It is also home to the largest Club Med pool in the alps, a full childcare program and 300km of ski slopes to suit all levels.

Club Med Kiroro Peak, Hokkaido, Japan – The latest addition to the Hokkaido portfolio. Kiroro Peak provides a one of a kind snow experience, with guests having access to some of the best powder snow in the world and long ski seasons until May – the only Club Med mountain resort in Asia to offer spring skiing.  The 216-room resort offers a multitude of facilities and activities including the brand’s first traditional Japanese onsen, distinctive restaurant and bar concepts, a full-service spa and wellness space and modern event spaces.

Club Med Changbaishan, China – Situated in the Changbaishan Biosphere Nature Reserve, a UNESCO world heritage site, Club Med Changbaishan is the group’s first forest hot springs resort in China. Unlock the vitality of Changbaishan over a traditional Chinese herbal bath, nourishing Ginseng cuisine and cosy mountain ambiance. Club Med Pragelato Sestriere, Italy – 1600 metres above sea level, this alpine resort welcomes guests to its hamlet of 82 chalets, including 17 newly built bringing the total to 105 bright and spacious rooms, decorated to reflect the spirit of their natural surroundings. Direct access to 400 kilometres of slopes in the Via Lattea ski area, Italy’s biggest.

Club Med Québec Charlevoix, Canada – The first North American mountain resort, immerse in the unspoiled natural landscape with amazing views of the St. Lawrence River. Spanning over 300 acres, the resort features 302 rooms with 25 exclusive connection suites with it’s own dedicated space. Guests can enjoy a full roster of experiences for any skill and interest, all day gourmet dining an open bar options with local and international specialities, as well as après-ski activities.
