Europe is now officially travel restriction free

Spain has dropped the remainder of its COVID restrictions, marking the first time in two and a half years that travellers can access the whole of Europe without any COVID-related restrictions.

From 21 October, travellers no longer need to prove they are fully vaccinated, provide a negative test or prove they had recently recovered from COVID.

Other popular European destinations including France, Italy and Greece have already lifted their restrictions in time for this year’s summer holiday season.

Restrictions still remain in popular travel destinations such as the US, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Indonesia, however, ranging from providing proof of vaccine to avoiding certain areas for a number of days after arrival.
