Accor opens Mercure Sydney Martin Place
Accor has officially opened its new Mercure Sydney Martin Place property today, right in the heart of the city’s bustling CBD.
Located on Phillip Street close to some of Sydney’s major attractions including Martin Place, Pitt Street Mall, Hyde Park and Circular Quay, the 4-star 86-room hotel is set to offer modern and contemporary interiors.
The spacious guest rooms include kitchenettes with microwave and tea and coffee-making facilities, with a 24-hour reception, high-speed, unlimited Wi-Fi, parking and laundry facilities.
Sarah Derry, Accor Pacific CEO, said the hotel’s central location will make it a popular choice for leisure seekers wanting to explore the best of Sydney, as well as business travellers wanting to be in the heart of the CBD.

To celebrate its launch, Mercure Sydney Martin Place has launched an opening special with stays from just $339 per night in the heart of Sydney surrounded by iconic landmarks including Hyde Park, Royal Botanic Gardens and Circular Quay.
Mercure Sydney Martin Place is owned by Salter Brothers, an Australian-owned global funds management business with a focus on hotels, property, private equity and credit, with group assets under management of over $2.6 billion.
The company’s hotel platform was formed in December 2015 and has established a track record of acquiring, developing and managing high-quality hotel assets across Australia and the USA, with its associated portfolio entities currently comprising 4,476 hotel rooms across 19 hotels, with asset value exceeding $2 billion.
