Canadian rail tour company Rocky Mountaineer has announced the addition of two new members to its Asia-Pacific international sales team.

Tony Soden joins Rocky Mountaineer as regional sales manager with extensive experience in travel and tourism, having worked most recently with Club Med as head of sales and customer relations for Australia and New Zealand.

Prior to Club Med, Soden spent eight years as national key account manager at Royal Caribbean Cruises and four years as state sales manager/sales development manager at Scenic and Evergreen.

Neryl Chambers also brings experience from Club Med in the role of business development executive. Before working with Club Med, Chambers was an international travel specialist at Helloworld Drysdale for four years.

“We welcome Tony and Neryl to the Rocky Mountaineer team at a time when travel demand is increasing,” said Amber Wilson, Rockey Mountaineer’s regional director of sales for Asia Pacific.

“Guests are eager to experience Rocky Mountaineer’s newest route, Rockies to the Red Rocks – a two-day rail journey between Denver, Colorado, and Moab, Utah.

“Our Asia-Pacific team is ready to give guests the experience of a lifetime, whether it’s on our new route or on our signature Canadian routes that connect Vancouver with Banff, Lake Louise and Jasper.”
