Booking.com offers exclusive music retreat for Eurovision
Booking.com has announced it will be opening an exclusive Music Retreat to celebrate this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in the host city of Turin, Italy.
Booking.com is offering a few fans the opportunity to experience a one-night stay to celebrate the annual Eurovision extravaganza of songs, sequins, and wind machines first-hand, through an immersive experience.
The music retreat will transform Booking.com’s Casa del Pingone, a 15th century building, restored with some of its original features and artwork, located on the edge of an ancient Roman wall, into a Eurovision Song Contest fan experience.
The music retreat will offer guests the chance to live it up as an international music icon for the night.
Fans will stay in a luxury apartment with a roof terrace and designer furniture. They will receive exclusive VIP access to attend the song contest live and in person, watched by an estimated 183 million viewers across the world.
Available exclusively on Booking.com for two one-night stays, those lucky enough to book the Music Retreat will enjoy a fully immersive Eurovision Song Contest extravaganza.
Singing along to the Eurovision Song Contest’s most emotional power ballads, memorable pop anthems, and everything in between, fans can rock the microphone in the property’s built-in recording studio.
Complete with the assistance of a professional music coach, guests will even get to record their very own rendition of a favourite Eurovision Song Contest hit as a keepsake for years to come.
Outside of the recording studio, guests at the Eurovision Song Contest Music Retreat can enjoy a custom karaoke, featuring all their favourite Eurovision Song Contest hits from the past decades.
Fans will also be able to snap pics in a custom photo-booth, with props and costume pieces that allow them to memorialise iconic Eurovision Song Contest moments and relive their experience for years to come.
The Music Retreat will accommodate up to two guests per night and be available for two stays, to coincide with the second semi-final and the grand final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2022.
Guests will also be given exclusive VIP tickets to see the world’s biggest and most beloved live music event, with the booker on the 12th May experiencing the second semi final and the guest on the 14th May securing tickets to the grand final.
The lucky guests who book the stay at the Eurovision Song Contest Music Retreat on the date of the grand final will also see a familiar face when they check in…Conchita Wurst, the Booking.com Eurovision Song Contest Ambassador.
To further celebrate the Eurovision Song Contest’s history of scintillating songs, vibrant performances and legendary live shows, Booking.com has partnered with Eurovision Song Contest legend Conchita Wurst. Tom Neuwirth a.k.a. Conchita Wurst, who is well known for winning the 2014 contest with his performance of ‘Rise like a phoenix’ will be opening the doors to greet guests who book for 14 May at the Music Retreat.
“As the Official Travel Partner of Eurovision Song Contest 2022, Booking.com is playing a role in making it easier for millions of Eurovision fans to come together and celebrate one of the world’s biggest and most beloved live music events, as well as its message of unity and inclusion,” said Arjan Dijk, SVP and CMO at Booking.com
“Beauty comes in a variety of forms in both music and travel, and the Eurovision Song Contest Music Retreat is just one way that we’re tapping into this unique moment to spark people’s curiosity and inspire them to discover the people and places that make the Eurovision Song Contest so special.”
