CT Partners adds new members, extends partnership with Qantas

Australian independent travel agency network CT Partners has announced the addition of two new members, In Travel and TRIBE Travel Group.

In Travel is an Indigenous-owned-and-managed boutique travel management company with offices in Melbourne and Perth.

TRIBE Travel Group is a recently formed premium travel business based in Prahran, Victoria, and is led by industry veterans Kelly Gelfland and Leon Burman.

CT Partners chairman Barry Mayo (pictured above) said: “Both In Travel and TRIBE Travel Group recognised the strength of the CT Partners model, especially the close working collaboration between our members and the full transparency of supplier payments, with 100 per cent going back to members.

“We are delighted to welcome both organisations to the group.”

In Travel managing director Dwayne Good said: “Joining CT Partners gives us access to better buying power, market-leading solutions and stronger supplier relationships. In these uncertain times, being part of a collaborative network means we are not alone.”

Kelly Gelfland, managing director at TRIBE, said: “At CT Partners, we feel we have found a home amongst like-minded agencies who care about each other and our industry.

“We were strongly attracted to CT Partners’ boutique feel and incredible level of transparency. CT partners felt right from our very earliest contact, and we look forward to many happy and prosperous years ahead in the CT Partners family.”

The travel agency network has also extended its longstanding partnership with Qantas, with the signing of a new three-year commercial agreement.

“We are very pleased to be continuing our longstanding relationship with Qantas, and view this latest agreement as delivering certainty where our members’ post-COVID recovery and future growth is concerned,” Mayo said.

Qantas’ executive manager of global sales and distribution, Igor Kwiatkowski, said the new agreement reinforced the long-term collaborative partnership that the airline had built with CT Partners.

“This agreement goes a long way toward strengthening our relationship with CT Partners,” he said.

“We are delighted to continue working together, focusing on opportunities that benefit our customers as the travel industry recovers.”
