This Thursday is International Men’s Health Day and, in conjunction with Movember, there will be a special webinar focused on men’s health in the travel industry to mark the occasion.

Walter Nand will be hosting this aptly named ‘Pausing a Mo-ment for Men’s Health’ webinar that is open to anyone wanting to attend.

“This has been an incredibly challenging time for everyone in our industry,” Nand said.

“We’d love to have as many people as possible join us for this opportunity to learn a little more or simply show your support for men’s health.”

The webinar panel will include three well-known industry personalities: Pete Rawley (Evolution Travel Collective), David Reeves (Ride the World Motorcycle Tours) and Richard Taylor (The Travel Industry Hub).

They’ll chat about some of their personal challenges in the past, those that are ongoing and some of the lessons learnt along the way.

As part of the discussion, the speaker panel will cover how to recognise the signs of depression or anxiety, how to engage in open and honest conversation, and some places where professional help can be found for those in need.

The webinar will kick off on Thursday 19 November at 1pm (AEDT). Those who are keen to tune in can register their attendance here.
