Nudist’s wild boar chase at popular Berlin lake caught on camera

Images of a nudist chasing a wild boar at a popular German lake have gone viral, spreading delight and messages of determination across the internet.

The photos were taken last week by Adele Landauer, a Berlin-based personal coach who told the mans story via Facebook and Instagram.

“Yesterday, at the lake in Berlin, I saw a real hero,” she said on her Instagram account.

“A female wild boar with two babies came out of the forest in order to search for food.”

Landauer explained that sunbathing naked is normal in Berlin, so there were a few people at the lake, known as Teufelssee, who were completely nude.

She said that a few onlookers were scared of the boars but they seemed peaceful.

“After they ate a pizza from a backpack of a man who was taking a swim in the lake, they were looking for a dessert. They found this yellow bag and decided to take it away.”

It is at this point that the chase begins; the owner of the bag (pictured), realised the boars had managed to take off with his laptop so he was determined to get it back.

“Everyone of us adored him how focused he stayed and when he came back with his yellow bag in the hand we all clapped and congratulated him for his success,” Landauer said.

Landauer said on her Facebook that she had showed the photos to the man before posting them.

“I then showed the photos to the man, he laughed and authorized me to make them public,” she said.

According to The Guardian, Derek Ehlert, Berlin’s ombudsman for wild animals, told local media that incidents like this had become increasingly common and that foxes had also become regular visitors to Berlin’s lakeside resorts.
