Praise be: DoubleTree by Hilton releases iconic chocolate chip cookie recipe!

The cookie equivalent of an orgasm can now be made at home, thanks to DoubleTree by Hilton.

For the first time ever, the Hilton brand is sharing the official bake-at-home recipe of its iconic chocolate chip cookie. And we’re seriously hyped.

If you’ve ever eaten one of these delicious gems, offered upon arrival at DoubleTree by Hilton properties worldwide, you’ll know exactly why we’re excited.

The cookies are, quite literally, out of this world (they’re the world’s first food baked in space – seriously), and the release of their recipe is the opening of a Pandora’s Box of chocolate goodness.

According to Hilton, more than 30 million of DoubleTree’s chocolate chip cookies are consumed per year. Copycat recipes have been shared online for years, but only now has Hilton released the official version to create at home.

“We know this is an anxious time for everyone,” Shawn McAteer, senior vice president and global head of DoubleTree by Hilton, said.

“A warm chocolate chip cookie can’t solve everything, but it can bring a moment of comfort and happiness.

“We hope families enjoy the fun of baking together during their time at home, and we look forward to welcoming all our guests with a warm DoubleTree cookie when travel resumes.”

The warm chocolate chip cookie welcome is synonymous with DoubleTree hotels worldwide, and travellers look forward to receiving one, fresh from the oven, upon their arrival.

Thanks to the Hilton brand, you can now do the same for your family as you stay safe indoors. Or, just binge a dozen with total impunity.

Here’s the recipe in full, so you can join us in falling into a sugar-coma:
