Road & rail wrap: Rail Europe’s new sightseeing tours + Railbookers’ free map for agents

This week’s road and rail wrap is like a train journey from Sydney’s Central station to Town Hall… in that it’s super-short.

Rail Europe now offers sightseeing tours

Rail Europe has officially launched VIATOR, where sightseeing tours and airport transfers can be purchased alongside rail passes, tickets and the great train journeys.

Effective immediately, agents can offer their clients these additional tour options to enhance their clients’ itineraries and travel experiences around the world.

From a Samurai lesson in Kyoto and a Northern Lights tour in Anchorage, to private transfers between train stations in London and an Italian cooking class in Cinque Terre, the options are endless and customisable.

Agents should note that all VIATOR products are instant purchase and delivered as e-tickets, and can only be booked via the website and imported into the booking. All products are commissionable with the nett amount shown during the booking process.

Railbookers offers free downloadable map for agents and travellers

Train holiday and tour specialist Railbookers is offering agents and travellers a free downloadable rail route map just for signing up to its newsletter.

The map will give agents and travellers a scope of just how much is possible when journeying by train and decide which destinations to visit, which routes are the most scenic, and what travellers would like to skip altogether.

The free rail route map can be downloaded here.
