This pilot’s prank did NOT go down well

Let’s face it: Pranks are RARELY fun for those on the receiving end.

But in the long list of possible pranksters, we would say the person you’d definitely NOT appreciate being pranked by would probably be a pilot.

Because you know… they’re basically the only thing standing between you and a fiery death caused by the plane you’re in falling out of the sky.

Which is why this pilots prank isn’t exactly going down well.

This pilot decided to walk through a crowded airport wearing dark glasses and holding a cane.

That’s right, he was pretending to be blind.

Not only is this a bit offensive to blind people, but he also probably caused panic in many travellers.

The image has since gone viral, racking up around 20,000 likes on Reddit, where it was first posted by a user called Whitlow14.

However, according to News.com.au, many people were unimpressed by the prank.

“In poor taste … no professional pilot who worked for a major airline — or reputable airline would do such a thing.” said one user.

The man in the photo has not been identified and it is unclear which airline he is employed by.

Whitlow14 said the photo was taken around Halloween so it might even just be a regular member of the public in a really convincing pilots uniform.
