“Hell on earth”: Puke plane horrifies passengers

A series of powerful storms bombarding the east coast of the United States has caused thousands of flights to be cancelled or delayed on Friday.

Lucky for those passengers.

The ‘pilot report’ for a United Airline’s flight, that wound up battling through the storm, details a very messy descent, so messy that we’ve decided to dub this flight the “puke plane”.

The report details the horrifying descent of a flight from Charlottesville, VA to Washington, D.C., which was confronted by wind gusts of up to 113 kmph.

“Pretty much everyone on the plane threw up. Pilots were on the verge of throwing up,” the report said.

Pilot reports like this usually just detail weather conditions, but this pilot decided to go a step further and detail the horror of the those trapped in the giant spew container.

Yahoo reports the plane was a Bombardier CRJ200 with a passenger capacity of 50 and a crew of three.

No doubt the relatively small group of travellers got to know each other a little too intimately, with the amount of bodily fluids flying around the cabin.

“Air Wisconsin Flight 3833 operating as United Express from Charlottesville, Va. to Washington Dulles International encountered turbulence because of high winds,” United said in a statement.

“A few customers onboard the regional jet became ill as the aircraft was preparing to land.”

“The aircraft landed safely and taxied to its gate. No customers required medical attention because of the turbulence.”

Maybe having your flight cancelled isn’t such a bad thing after all?
