On this post Melbourne Cup, slow moving Wednesday, it’s to get some good news.
And agents, you’re going to like this.
The country’s biggest consumer opinion site, ProductReview.com.au, has announced the products and services that have taken the crown in its 2017 ProductReview.com.au Awards.
So how did the world of travel fare?
ProductReview.com.au’s travel 2017 Award winners
Travel:
Best Travel Agent: My Odyssey Tours
Best Hotel Reservation Service: Travel Online
Best Car Hire: East Coast Car Rentals
Insurance:
Best Travel Insurance: Southern Cross Travel Insurance
Best Pet Insurance: Bow Wow Meow Pet Insurance
My Odyssey Tours have been crowned Best Travel Agent so leave your holiday planning and booking to the experts.
A spokesperson from My Odyssey Tours said, “We are honoured and thrilled to win this prestigious award. Our team at My Odyssey Tours strives to provide satisfactory service to our guests and winning the award is a huge recognition for us.”
Lesser known travel booking site Travel Online has taken out Best Hotel Reservation Service, while Best Car Hire has been awarded to East Coast Car Rentals.
A spokesperson from Travel Online, said, “We are absolutely thrilled to receive this award. Being an Australian owned and operated business up against some huge international competitors, it highlights that people still value great service and genuine advice.
“We have an amazing team who try to go the extra mile for every customer, and it’s great to know their efforts are appreciated.”
Make sure you’re prepared for whatever mishaps might come your way with Southern Cross Travel Insurance, which has won Best Travel Insurance.
ProductReview.com.au Chris Perrine said, “With the awards based on honest consumer reviews, we are confident these products are the most trusted in the market. Our team of moderators continually verify reviews from real customers, so we can most accurately determine the best products based on owner experience.
“Word of mouth has always been effective in helping people make informed purchase decisions – and now more than ever, Australians are seeking reviews as their research of choice when it comes time to buy something new or try a new service.
“We are proud to hold our awards for the second consecutive year, and just in time for Christmas. These awards allow products and services to stand out from their competitors, and offer a shortcut to discovering the ‘best of the best’ on the market.”
