Time is running out to become a Great Train Journeys expert!

PSA for all you procrastinating agents out there – there’s only two weeks to get your sh*t together and and become a certified expert in Great Train Journeys.

Rail travel has become one of the fastest growing sectors in the travel industry, and now thanks to Rail Plus, you can know it like the back of your hand.

The catch? The first ever ~train~ training program is closing on October 6 (so really, really soon).

The Great Train Journey (GTJ) Rail Expert program is a stand-alone training program exclusively focused on the world’s most enticing and exciting train voyages.

Rail Plus Commercial Director Ingrid Kocijan says it is particularly valuable to graduates of the company’s more broadly-focused ‘Rail Expert’ course as it allows them to build upon an already solid foundation of train and rail knowledge.

“The narrow focus of the new GTJ Rail Expert program enables agents to really dive into the world of high-value rail products and deepen their specialist knowledge, providing a further edge over competitors,” she said.

The new GTJ Rail Expert program, open to all Aussie travel agents, offers eight modules, which explore leading train networks, journeys and regions. At the end of each module, agents are presented with 10 questions, which they have until midday on 6 October 2017 to answer.

The modules cover Rocky Mountaineer, VIA Rail, Grand Train Tour of Switzerland, Great Southern Rail, The Great Journeys of New Zealand, Belmond & India, The Americas –  as well as the rest of the world.

Every agent who achieves a 60 per cent pass rate will graduate as a ‘GTJ Rail Expert’, and receive an e-certificate.

But whilst you don’t have to get 100 per cent, the top graduate from the inaugural program will receive a $500 VISA Gift card.

The second place winner will score a $250 VISA Gift card and third place will win a $150 VISA Gift card. The top achiever for each modules will also win a Kobo e-reader.

All those prizes plus all the extra rail knowledge you’ll have should be more than enough to complete the training – before it’s too late!
