The only snow accommodation you’ll ever need
Get your gear ready, snow bunnies, because come decemeber we have the perfect snow abode.
Located 1,850 meters above sea level in the heart of Les Trois Vallées, on the French Alps, this resort offers ski-in, ski-out facilities – from a huge ski room with postcard-worthy views directly onto the mountains. VIP much?
On 15 December, Aman Le Mélézin will reopen for the alpine ski season – marking its 25th anniversary by unveiling a brand spanking new 800 square metre spa, dedicated to rebalancing both body and mind.
The launch of the new Aman Spa at Aman Le Mélézin will allow you to ~nourish~ yourself from the outside in after being on the French Alps allllll day.
A new refurbished room or suite sounds like the perfect hideaway from the snow (once you’re done skiing), but if you can’t relax enough in your room there’s also gonna be an extensive wellness sanctuary for ultimate ~relaxation~ after an exhilarating day on the slopes.
If a spa over two floors doesn’t sound like enough (it is), the resort will also launch it’s new restaurant Nama, which celebrates finely crafted Japanese cuisine under the guidance of master chef Keiji Matoba. Nama’s menu will feature authentic and uncomplicated Japanese dishes including sushi and sashimi alongside highlight dishes such as succulent wagyu beef and otoro tuna – plus warming ramen dishes.
There will be five spacious treatment rooms on one floor, with a signature Thai massage suite and a range of Turkish wellness experiences, including warming and soothing hot stone massages, and energising Himalayan salt scrub experiences.
There will also be a newly installed yoga studio offering early morning pre-ski sessions to prepare and stretch the body for a day of skiing (no more leg cramps!). The studio will also be equipped with state-of the-art TRX equipment, used to develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability – all excellent for (basically) prepping you for the winter olympics.
Head to the second floor for a cold plunge pool, a relaxation lounge, a Capri-stone hammam (a Turkish bath) and a wooden sauna. There will also be Jacuzzis and a tranquil 14-metre lap pool, all under one roof.
If you’re looking for complete indulgence, the Mélézin Signature Spa Journey will combine dry brushing to boost circulation, a tension-releasing hot stone and oil massage and a calming facial designed specially to counter the winter Alpine elements. Seriously, you’ll feel reborn.
Also new this year is the introduction of a kids club, offering youngsters aged three to 15 a communal space to socialise after ski school. They can participate in arts and crafts, a variety of social games, and interactive cooking demonstrations where they will be able to bake and decorate their own cookies and cakes.
The best part? The club will be open and supervised until 10pm each night, giving parents the opportunity to wine and dine ~alone~.
With all these new additions to the resort the 2017/2018 ski season is set to be amazing – both on and off the slopes. We’re booking now.
