LUXE City Guides rejig livery, get ‘appy

LUXE City Guides have relaunched their portfolio for travellers, offering 30 destinations in pocket-sized guides and digital app formats with a new livery.

LUXE City Guides CEO Simon Westcott was in Sydney to launch the new style and admitted that in the past they have had “issues with distribution”.

The 30 guides will now be distributed throughout Australia by New Holland publishers.

By buying the fold-out print guide, travellers can also access the app for six months which is frequently updated by resident curators on the ground.

“Print and digital is an and/and proposition not an either/or,” Westcott said.

Westcott described the guides as having a characteristic wit and style. “Brutally frank and sometimes frankly brutal,” he said.

Australia is the second largest market for the city guides.

Per capita, however, there are more LUXE readers in Australia than anywhere else in the world.
