Yes NZ, we want to see Cockpit Karaoke

The public relations team at Air New Zealand are on fire, this time calling on late night TV king James Corden to bring his “Carpool Karaoke” to the cockpit.

The Late, Late Show’s Carpool Karaoke has been graced with the likes of guests including the First Lady Michelle Obama, Adele and who can forget the epic threesome of George Clooney, Julia Roberts and Gwen Stefani.

So following up on Corden’s apology after calling New Zealand “a little bit boring” and declared that he was “in love” with the country, Air New Zealand has thrown down the challenge, inviting him to bring the karaoke to the cockpit.

“Hey, James. It’s us. Your old pals from New Zealand,” the airline said on a video posted on Facebook.

“Mate, we’ve got a pitch for you. (Lol, pitch. See where we’re going with this.) Picture this: You. Us. Hashtag views. Hashtag lols. #CockpitKaraoke.”

It’s not the first time Air New Zealand has been creative in attracting publicity. The airline is notorious for their safety videos and more recently their Running Man Challenge video.

So what do you think the line-up of songs should be for Cockpit Karaoke? We have put together the following playlist we think is fitting (yes punch these into your playlist now and get singing)
