Agents get a spectacular Singapore stopover

Singapore Airlines together with Singapore Tourism Board recently invited a contingent of Victorian based travel agents to experience the airline’s Singapore Stopover Holidays programme.

Showcasing Singapore as a destination and the value the Singapore Stopover Holidays programme offers clients, TravelManagers’ personal travel managers Luke Vaughan, representative for Kooyong and Sylvia Holland, representative for Mount Eliza recently enjoyed their five-night Singapore stopover experience.

“The city has managed to successfully shake off its sterile reputation it’s had for so long. It was so wonderful to see the vibrant mix of cultures evidenced by its amazing array of architecture, streetscapes and of course delicious cuisine,” says Vaughan.

Holland was impressed by Singapore’s keen eye for tourism infrastructure.

“Each time I visit Singapore there are new places and attractions to experience. I would happily recommend Singapore easily as a destination in its own right, but equally it is the perfect place to break the journey to or from UK and Europe. If you’re going to attempt to beat jetlag, you may as well do it in an exciting location!”

Vaughan was impressed by the exceptional value the Singapore Stopover Holidays programme offers.

“It’s an absolutely brilliant program allowing clients to stopover and take advantage of city attractions at heavily discounted prices. The packages include discounted accommodation and airport transfers, but what’s incredible is the huge list of attractions that can be visited free as part of your stopover pass. These include Universal Studios, Gardens by the Bay, the Singapore Flyer and the Singapore Zoo. It’s all in one easy to sell package too.”

Singapore Airlines Group flies from eight Australian gateway cities directly to Singapore and continues to provide a well-established and popular stopover destination en route to UK, Europe and Asia.
