Gain some Insight into USA

Insight Vacations has unveiled its 2016/17 USA, Canada and South America brochure, which features 10 Luxury Gold itineraries, and for the first time, Peru.

The brochure also includes 15 Insight Premium escorted journeys including two brand new itineraries, the 12-day Landscapes of the Canadian Maritimes itinerary visiting New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island, and the 13-day Easy Pace American Contrasts journey that brings together LA, San Fran, Las Vegas and New York.

“We are taking luxury travel to a whole new dimension in 2016,” Insight Vacations’ managing director Joost Timmer said.

“We have handpicked the very best hotels in each destination, such as the historic Roosevelt Hotel in New Orleans, the luxurious Royal Hawaiian and the prestigious Towers of the Waldorf-Astoria in New York, often frequented by Presidents and dignitaries. This has been combined with a new range of carefully crafted epicurean experiences and exclusive activities that travellers wouldn’t normally have access to.”

Signature Experiences will remain a hallmark of Insight Vacations’ Luxury Gold itineraries, offering guests the opportunity to enjoy exclusive activities that take in the essence of each location, such as a private cooking class at the New Orleans School of Cooking or exploring Butchart Gardens in Canada with a horticulturist.

In 2016/17, the Luxury Gold itineraries are now all-inclusive with no options sold, and private airport transfers include a personalised meet and greet service. Additionally, a number of the itineraries now feature room upgrades such as the Luxurious Hawaiian Escape itinerary which boasts upgraded Ocean View Rooms.

“Having identified a demand for exotic new destinations, we are thrilled to announce our launch into South America, with our 12-day Treasures of the Incas Luxury Gold escorted journey in Peru,” Timmer added.

“High on the travel bucket-list globally, Peru offers UNESCO heritage sites and natural diversity of landscapes and we are confident our itinerary will be popular amongst Australian travellers especially those with a deeper appreciation for history and culture.”

Taking in Lima, the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Cusco, Puno and Lake Titicaca at a leisurely pace, guests will explore the mysterious history of the Inca Empire and will also delve into present culture as they meet local artisans, barter at markets, learn local crafts and take part in powerful rituals.

New for the 2016 program is the introduction of Relaxed Starts, identified by the symbol ‘RS’ to highlight those days on itineraries that guests can enjoy a leisurely start of 9am or later.

Departures for the new program commence in January 2016 and run until April 2017. Insight Vacations is offering an Early Payment Discount of up to 10% off selected 2016/17 USA, Canada and South America itineraries when booked and paid in full by 30 October, 2015.
