Helloworld welcomes Spathis back to the Company

Helloworld Limited has farewelled one employee, and welcomed another back to the Company.

Stephen Bennett will retire from his position as non-executive director as of May 18, with the role to be taken over by Peter Spathis.

Spathis is an accountant and registered tax agent, currently working as the chief financial officer of the consolidated travel group of companies.

With over 25 years’ experience in the travel industry under his belt, Spathis served on the Board of Helloworld Limited from June 2002 until November 2012 as the appointed representative of Sintack Pty Limited, a substantial shareholder in Helloworld.

Helloworld’s chairman Brett Johnson said he was delighted to welcome Spathis back to the Helloworld Board.

“I am sure out business will benefit from Peter’s wealth of travel industry knowledge and experience,” he said.

“Steve has been a valuable member of the Helloworld Board and has provided advice and guidance to both me and my colleagues through a period of significant change and transformation for the Company.”
