Happy Easter – here’s a hot cross bun house

In a bid to inspire, surprise and delight the Australian public, Stayz has launched a whole hot cross bun house outside one of Australia’s most iconic houses – Customs House.

The picture perfect house – complete with front garden and white picket fence – took over 80 hours to build and uses 6,000 freshly baked hot cross buns.

Stayz Australia’s traveller marketing manager Amee Evans said they loved the idea of creating a whole house made out of hot cross buns.

“The activation allows us to showcase that, unlike many other forms of accommodation options, we offer consumers whole houses guaranteed to give a unique experience,” Evans said.

The #StayzBunz campaign, which is fully integrated across earned and owned media channels, is the first activation to market with a consistent stream of other activity planned throughout 2015.

“We’re committed to further growing our established and much-loved domestic brand to ensure that we continue to inspire domestic travel and communicate Stayz’s point of difference – offering consumers whole holiday homes rather than just rented rooms.”
