NTIA 2015: Who’s in it to win it?

NTIA 2015: Who’s in it to win it?
By admin

The website for the 2015 AFTA NTIA awards nominations has gone live today, with winners to be announced at the gala ceremony in mid-July.

With 7 new award categories introduced this year, to “reflect the changing, dynamic nature of the travel industry”, AFTA chief executive, Jayson Westbury said, the nomination process has also been streamlined.

This year three nomination forms will be used in the NTIA judging process for the 37 categories – one form for travel agents to nominate a supplier, a second for a supplier to nominate a travel agent and a third form for those keen to go into the running to take home the Emirates Travel Consultant Scholarship.

Also new to 2015 is that all companies or individuals being nominated under categories 1 to 17 and 37 must be an ATAS accredited business or work for an ATAS accredited agency.

Nominations will only be accepted via an online form and each nomination will be verified prior to proceeding to the voting stage of the award process, AFTA advises.

The gala awards dinner on July 18 will also move to a new location this year and will be held at the Dockside Pavilion Darling Harbour.

Nominations must be entered before 5pm (EDST) February 20.
