With more to see and do in the lion city than ever before, the Singapore Tourism Board are offering travel agents an interactive way to tap into insider knowledge and will reward 10 with a trip to the sizzling Asian hub.

Launching today, the Singapore Insider program will be spread across six modules, with travel agents invited to learn more about Singapore’s diverse neighbourhoods including Kampong Glam, Chinatown and Little India.

Agents enrolled in the interactive online program will learn about key festivals and events hosted in the city throughout the year, as well as the latest attractions and upcoming planned developments.

“With Singapore such an ever-changing destination, it is important for travel agents to remain up to date with the destination,” STB assistant manager, Oceania, Rebecca Lavender told Travel Weekly.

“The Singapore Insider program is a great interactive way for agents to inform themselves and increases their chances of ensuring that their clients can make the most out of their time in Singapore. Whether Singapore is just a short few day stop over or a single destination holiday this program will help agents in selling Singapore.”

Each module is timed and scored so ensure agents are up to date on the top Singapore products by reading the downloadable ‘cheat sheets’ prior to completing the quiz.

The first three modules have launched today with the remainder three modules to be unveiled on 23 February.

Singapore Tourism Board will reward the top 10 highest scorers over the six-week period with a spot on a Famil to Singapore in May 2015. The competition is only open to bonafide Australian travel agents (view T&Cs).

The competition will close on Friday 13 March 2015 5:00pm AEDST with winners announced week commencing 23 March 2015.

Agents can stay up to date on where they rank on the leaderboard throughout the incentive.
