Travel industry gets ready for big night out

By admin

The Australian Travel Industry is preparing for the biggest National Travel Industry Awards to date, with a record 1300 guests coming to celebrate 34 categories of excellence.

The sell out event will be held on Saturday night at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion in Moore Park, with the program including food, surprise entertainment and, no doubt, a few beverages.

“It is a time to acknowledge and celebrate all that we have achieved both as an industry and individually over the past year, and to showcase the incredible talent and expertise which exists amongst Australian Travel Agents and providers,” Australian Federation of Travel Agents chief executive Jayson Westbury said..

“The calibre of finalists is extremely high this year, as it is every year – best of luck to all finalists in the running for awards – to have been acknowledged as a finalist is a huge achievement in itself."

Guests will also have the chance to win one of the many luck door prizes on offer, as well as a $2000 Qantas travel voucher which will go to the winner of the Qantas #QFSnapToWin Instagram competition to be held at the event.

Qantas is the major sponsor of this year’s event, with the exclusive after party sponsored by Singapore Airlines.
