Le Méridien launches "global éclair program"
By admin

To celebrate National Chocolate Éclair Day at the weekend, Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts announced the launch of a new "global éclair program" in partnership with award-winning pastry chef Johnny Iuzzini.

Iuzzini will create eight seasonal éclair recipes for the hotels, inspired by his travels through various Le Méridien destinations.

Guests will be given the opportunity to indulge in the treats, with each hotel serving up three signature éclair flavours Рchocolate, coffee and vanilla, as well as one locally inspired flavour.

“Through local recipes and a modern perspective on this quintessentially French pastry, Le M√©ridien √©clairs enable us to offer unique, memorable guest experiences,” Le M√©ridien & Westin global brand leader Brian Povinelli said.

To celebrate the launch of Le M√©ridien √âclairs, the hotel group will host on-property events and programs that focus on the dessert, including do-it-yourself tutorials with on-site pastry chefs and √©clair ‘happy hour’ where guests can sample the creations.

Exotic favourites from global locations include the maple bacon éclair at Le Méridien Dallas, the coconut-infused Dulce de Leche éclair in Panama, and the mango, lime and ginger éclair at Le Méridien Bangkok.
