Trafalgar targets double-digit US growth
By admin

Trafalgar will again target double digit passenger and revenue growth in the US and Canada next year as it launched its 2015 program with an expanded range of tours.

The coach operator has introduced an 11-day tour of Newfoundland and Labrador, an eight-day Secrets of the Old South, 27-day Trans-American Grand Adventure, 10-day Mexico’s Colonial Cities and Coastal Resorts and the eight-day Natural Wonders of Costa Rica.

The additions take the number of itineraries to 46. It also contains more than 100 Insider Experiences, including 22 Be My Guest dining options.

Trafalgar managing director Matt Cameron-Smith described it as its “most competitive” US and Canada program to date.

“We have a deeper range of innovative and unique experiences than ever,” he said.

The Secrets of the Old South tour includes an audience with the son of Johnny Cash, John Carter Cash (pictured) – together with a private performance – while the Trans-American trip takes in a night at America’s oldest continually operating hotel, The Hilton-operated Palmer House Chicago.

Other new experiences include a Be My Guest dinner at a 17th century colonial mansion in Mexico and lunch at a Costa Rican hacienda, now an eco-friendly family home and organic farm.

Cameron-Smith said it was aiming to build on double-digit growth this year with a similar increase in 2015.

The exchange rate still makes American and Canada value for money destinations while airfares across the Pacific remain competitive, he said.

Bookings made before October 30 will benefit from Trafalgar’s 10% Early Booking Discount which can be combined with its Frequent Traveller discount of 5%.
