Cathay Pacific will launch a nonstop daily service from Hong Kong to Zurich from March 29, 2015 subject to government approval.

The new service will offer passengers travelling from Hong Kong direct access to the Swiss city that is considered a leading financial centre and attractive tourist destination, with tickets already on sale.

 

InterContinental Hotels Group has launched a new English-language landing page targeted at outbound travel into Japan.

The Visit Japan webpage provides a "comprehensive:" guide, by season, for travellers looking to plan a holiday to Japan.

 

Agents can still take advantage of earlybird specials and 2014 pricing from Travelmarvel when they book from its Canada and Alaska 2015 Preview brochure, valid until June 7.

According to the company’s General Manager, David Cox, early sales have exceeded expectations,

“Canada and Alaska has got off to a really strong start this year," he said. "That’s due to our outstanding product and strength of proposition, and also to the support we’ve received from industry partners who have welcomed the fact that we are offering our preview pricing for longer.”

 

The new Cruise Planner from Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises aims to allow guests to “seamlessly and intuitively” plan all aspects of their cruise holiday.

The tool that makes it possible for all reservations, activities and entertainment to be booked in advance of departure, ensuring no holiday time needs to be spent on planning. In addition, Royal Caribbean International’s Quantum of the Seas’ Dynamic Dining reservations are also open and available for guests to book. 

 

The launch of the Good Food Project across Heritage Hotels'  New Zealand properties seeks to "re-imagine" hotel food.

The series of six commitments promises to provide guests with healthy eating options and will be gradually rolled out across the brand's portfolio.

They include: showcasing New Zealand’s seasonal produce in every Heritage Hotel; introducing vegan and vegetarian dishes on every menu; rolling out the successful raw breakfast bar across the Heritage Hotels group; ensuring all the hotels cook with healthier vegetable based oil alternatives; catering to specific dietary requirements, such as gluten free; and developing healthy food options for kids.
