Bunnik cancels Egypt tours as situation worsens
By admin

Adelaide-based wholesaler Bunnik Tours has cancelled all tours to Egypt until September 10 as civil unrest continues to escalate across the country.

Passengers have been given the option to receive a full refund, book on another date or transfer to another destination.

While tours after that date are scheduled to operate as normal, holidaymakers with bookings from September 11 to 30 can also cancel and receive a full refund or change to a new destination without charge.

Consumers booked on tours due to depart from October 1 onwards can swap Egypt for a new destination or date without penalty.

Bunnik said it was working with airlines to “minimise any amendment fees” but added it “cannot take responsibility for any airfare not booked through our office”.

“We are saddened by the developing situation in Egypt and our thoughts are with the Egyptian people,” the wholesaler said. “We have faith that peace will prevail and the situation will soon return to normal.”

Bunnik said it currently has no clients in Egypt while all staff on the ground are safe and well.
