Your chance to win a one point flight with Virgin’s new offer

Your chance to win a one point flight with Virgin’s new offer

From today, Virgin Velocity Frequent Flyers (VVFF) program will be overhauled, launching One Point Rewards, meaning Velocity members can access free flights and luxury goods for just one Velocity point.

A new, three-tier reward structure has been applied to Reward Seats to offer different price points to members and will be rolled out by 5 June. Tiers will take into account the total distance flown, average ticket price for said route, cabin class and the availability of flights at the stage of booking.

A one-way flight from Sydney to Melbourne could be redeemed with 6,200 points, whereas the longer route from Melbourne to Perth would be redeemable at 14,100 points.

Reward seats will also have added incentives that mean they are cheaper than a normal ticket, like complimentary seat allocation and checked baggage.

VVFF members will also be able to exchange points for lifestyle products from Apple, Dyson, Weber and Endota with the sale kicking off on Melbourne’s iconic Chapel Street on 10 June before being rolled out online on 11 June.

The first 100 members through the door will be guaranteed a one-point flight!

To keep members on their toes, the one-point rewards will be available online at random, undisclosed times once a week across four weeks.
