Attracting 284,000 holidaying Aussies each year, NZ is the third-most popular overseas destination for Australians, but attracts the highest proportion of adrenalin junkies.

Roy Morgan Research group account director Angela Smith has advice for agents looking to reach this niche segment of the market, which is generally under 25, slightly more male than female and environmentally conscious, “Many also agree that they’d like a total ecotourism experience on their net holiday.”
