    Look & Feel

Atlantis The Palm was the first entertainment resort destination in Dubai, opening in September 2008. The uniquely designed hotel looks out at the centre of Palm Island – one of the largest man-made islands in the world.

The entrance of Atlantis The Palm is inspired by water and wonder. The stunning 10-metre-high sculpture, designed by Dale Chihuly, cannot be missed when arriving at the lobby. The piece is made up of 3,000 pieces of intensely-coloured blown glass and is surrounded by a reflection pool and eight “fish columns” constructed within an architecturally developed sea urchins shell.

The entertainment resort is a hit among families, offering all guests complimentary access to the world’s biggest waterpark, Atlantis Aquaventure and The Lost Chambers Aquarium.

The rooms are large and beautiful with a family-friendly feel. The resort went above and beyond – ‘Welcome to Atlantis’ was written in rose petals on the bed along with a display of sandwiches and chocolate. The turn down included a note from the staff wishing us a wonderful rest. Excellent service!

    Dining

The morning at Saffron was brightened by excellent coffee and delicious waffles, enhanced by a vibrant juice station that captivated the children. The space is decorated in modern decor still inline with the aquatic theme.

Nobu at The Atlantis didn’t just serve food; it curated an exceptional dining experience with each dish, from the spicy yellowfin tuna to the dessert, demonstrating the precision and innovation for which Nobu is renowned. This was a stand out moment, with a view from the very tip of Palm Island and Dubai’s incredible skyline.

    Facilities

    Aquaventure Waterpark shark snorkel.

Atlantis Aquaventure is the world’s biggest waterpark. The genuine warmth and cheerfulness of the staff, from the ride attendants to the lifeguards, truly enhances the experience, making each adrenaline-fueled ride, from the shadowy plunge of the Shark Attack to the thrilling twists of Aquaconda, all the more enjoyable. The river rapid stream surrounds Aquaventure which offers a unique method of transport around the park – it’s an excellent way to keep cool and avoid the crowds!

As well as guests being offered complimentary access to Aquaventure, each guest is welcomed to enjoy The Lost Chambers Aquarium free of charge which is home to 65,000 marine animals including stingrays, sharks and incredible schools of multi-coloured fish. As you walk through the hallways of the resort, guests are struck with spectacular windows looking into one of the biggest open-air aquariums in the world.

The AWAKEN Spa was a sanctuary of luxury, from the pearl-inlaid tiles to the Arabian-infused decor. The signature AWAKEN massage, tailored for rejuvenation and relaxation, was enhanced by a crystal-chosen oil that intuitively addressed your needs. The experience offered a lasting feeling of peace and serenity.

WHITE Beach is Atlantis, The Palm’s bohemian themed adult-only beach club hosting an ultra cool crowd. WHITE Beach’s two luxury pools on the beach are filled with cocktail sipping guests enjoying the tropical tunes from the DJ. WHITE Beach restaurant did not disappoint with an impressive Mediterranean menu, cocktails and a range of gin and tonic options. The lobster tacos were the stand out!
