Gold Coast to gain first of its kind hotel at Palm Beach

Development approval has been granted for an iconic Palm Beach landmark, a $120 million, state of the art hotel Embarked for a site at 1081-1089 Gold Coast Highway.

The new construction will comprise of 126 rooms across six storeys, with state-of-the-art amenities, including a rooftop pool, gym, spa, and in-house dining.

Palm Beach Hotel is surrounded by the best of what the coast has to offer, a vibrant dining and shopping scene and a mix of trendy cafes and restaurants all within walking distance to white sandy beaches.

With tourism to the area buzzing, the hotel will also help meet the need for more accessible offerings in the Southern Gold Coast for domestic and international travellers.

Plus Architecture has been engaged to deliver the master-planned hotel that’s aiming to be completed for Q1 2025.

“Being such a significant project, our team took a considered approach to create a standout development in an increasingly discerning market,” director, Plus Architecture, Danny Juric, said.

Robert Steer of Steer Developments – a Gold Coast luxury property group involved – said he wanted to create a space that makes guests feels something special.
