By admin

Chairman and hief executive of international luxury travel network Virtuoso, Matthew D. Upchurch, visited Australia this month as part of the network’s annual Australian Roadshow and in time to celebrate its 10th year of operations in Australia and New Zealand.

Virtuoso entered the Australian market in 2004 with the announcement of founding travel agency member Mary Rossi Travel, and has since welcomed travel agency members in 54 locations in Australia and New Zealand.

A Crown Towers dinner on March 2 kicked of a week of Virtuoso events, which included the Owners’ Regional meeting and the annual training and networking Roadshow, which took place in Sydney, Melbourne and the Gold Coast, and brought together 32 luxury suppliers from as far afield as Peru, India, Ireland and South Africa, in addition to hundreds of accredited Virtuoso travel advisors.
